Misceo Sextet

By merging together a Jazz piano trio with another of Classical string instrumentalists, Misceo Sextet represents new directions in music, envisioning to blur existing lines of musical styles within their own original compositions and arrangements to create music that is out-of-ordinary and truly captivating.

After the Danish Jazz trio Balvig / Bülow / Christensen released in 2017 widely acclaimed debut album, they’ve been eager to rearrange their original compositions and devote time to create new pieces for the Misceo Sextet.

The new project brings together players from four different European countries, featuring:

Jazz Piano Trio: Frederik Bülow - drums, Adrian Christensen - double bass, Artturi Rönkä - piano &

Classical String Trio: Joasia Cieslak - cello, Andrew Ng - violin and Margarethe Breit - viola

.. is all about                  the borders between Jazz and Classical music
